As with any home there are running costs. These include annual site fees, gas and electricity. Naturally these change from year to year but to give you an idea, this is what your costs could look like...

6 Steps to holiday home ownership

Step 1

Where would you like to spend your time?

The most important question is, if owning a holiday home is right for you? Do you want to go away frequently? Do you like to return to your favourite place? Do you like to be in familiar surroundings with your own belongings? If you answered YES to all three questions, then a caravan holiday home is perfect for you. If you’re a young family the benefits are not needing to pack too much, not wasting precious time travelling long distances and being able to go often. We recommend finding a Holiday Park around two - three hours’ drive away from your home to make the most of getting away and enable easy access weekend use.

To purchase your new Lodge or Caravan holiday home, you only need to pay a deposit. You can finance the rest of the cost over a fixed number of years and we can help find the best deal for you. As well as the cost of the caravan, there are other running costs involved with ownership to consider - which our team can fully explain. These include the annual site fees, cost for gas, electricity, water, sewerage and insurance. You need to be aware of all of the costs before deciding if owning a caravan holiday home is right for you.
